Tony's doing well!

Band heard from former 'Note' Tony earlier today, he's well and still very busy with work - but hopes to get along to a gig soon!

Back in the studio!

The band are back in the studio soon with a new number to record! Further details soon!

Saturday 8th September, whole band (and audience we reckon) feel it was the best gig we've had in a LONG time - band were tight, rocking and all enjoyed it.

It's been a rough few months for the Notes with people leaving through illness, some quitting through work commitments (and some given the boot because they weren't up to it), but we are now finally a good working band. We are all very happy :)

Special thanks to all the support from the great venues, clubs and pubs we play at - we truly appreciate your kind support!

Our new showreel should be online in the next few weeks - keep a look out!

The Notes are looking forward to playing a private party as a four piece on the 8th September.

Back on the road!

We are very pleased to announce that the band are back on the road with a superb line-up:

Sarah - Vocals & Percussion
Brad - Drums, Vocals & Backing Vocals
Steve - Bass, Vocals & Backing Vocals
Graham - Lead/Rhythm Guitar

New photos and videos soon!

Sadly the group have had to disband at present owing to a guitarist quieten g through injury and drummer has an ankle injury. Apologies to any venue we are booked at - we will phone/contact you are individually very soon.

Thank you and apologies again.

We are looking for a lead guitarist who obviously has their own gear and transport (you'd be surprised) - plus is willing to fit into any existing covers band with a quite a few gigs under our belt - and a good eight gigs throughout 2018/2019, including a prestige Essex venue! We have not taken on more at present owing to not having a regular Lead guitarist to work with.

You must be willing to commit and whilst we agree, family/work comes first, we expect a weekly rehearsal commitment and at least two gigs a month (more preferable depending on your circumstances). Band ages range from 30 - 62 although age/sex/ethnicity, etc., is irrelevant to us - the right person is important.

As a band we don’t mind if the lead guitarist isn’t ‘brilliant’ but must be of a good standard and attitude — and sociability are of more use to this band. You would come in to join what we do, not change it as we already have three years together and have a 'sound'.

We are not bothered about your musical likes/influences as we don't think it matters for covers. We only gig in the Essex area and work the clubs more than the pubs.

A meet-up first is suggested to get to know each other and if this works out we can progress from there.

Our playlist at present is:
